Sean's passion for engineering was sparked during his youth, working alongside his father, a carpenter. Sean helped with residential construction and remodeling jobs throughout high school and this early exposure to construction and design sparked his passion for figuring out how to put things together. This led him to pursue a degree in civil engineering and Sean graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering in 2013.

 

Sean finds inspiration in the technical challenges of his work, particularly enjoying whiteboard sessions where he can delve into technical details and brainstorm innovative solutions with the diverse group of people he works with.

 

Sean values the opportunity to work on a wide variety of interesting projects with his group of colleagues at HWA and is dedicated to finding solutions to problems facing our infrastructure.
